This Nain 6LA rug is a finely woven wool and silk piece, with a dense and precise structure. As with other 6LA qualities, the name refers to approximately six base threads per fringe, creating a very tight weave; in this case, the rug is slightly finer still, with around 10 knots per cm. Its design follows the refined Nain tradition, with a soft ivory field, a delicate central medallion and finely drawn floral motifs in shades of light blue, navy, beige and subtle taupe.
