About us

A story woven between cultures, generations, and tradition.

A rooted story in Avenue Louise

For decades, our story has unfolded on one of Brussels’ most distinguished avenues. The gallery was founded by my father and his associate with a simple conviction: authentic Persian rugs deserve knowledge, discernment, and respect.

Over the years, the store evolved through different spaces along Avenue Louise, refining both its collection and its clientele.

For nearly fourteen years, it occupied a vast exhibition space near Place Vleurgat — where exceptional pieces could fully express their scale and presence. Today, the gallery continues its journey at Avenue Louise 215.

A more intimate setting, yet guided by the same standards of rigor and cultural integrity.
The address may have shifted.
The philosophy has not.

Inside the gallery

A Persian rug is never just decor: it is heritage, technique, and taste—chosen with patience, not impulse.

Behind the glass, each piece is curated with a trained eye. Our selection is guided by craftsmanship first: the quality of the knot, the balance of the design, the harmony of color, and the integrity of the materials.

We value authenticity and provenance. Most of our rugs come from renowned weaving regions such as Nain, Isfahan, Ghom, and Tabriz—each with its own character, tradition, and standards of excellence. Whether you are looking for a statement piece or a more accessible rug, the approach remains the same: honest advice, rigorous selection, and respect for the art.

Persian heritage

Persian rugs are not merely decorative textiles — they are living artifacts crafted within centuries of tradition, bearing the imprint of regions, families, and artisans.

Across Iran, cities developed distinct weaving languages. In Nain, fine wool and balanced geometry yield quiet elegance. In Isfahan, intricate floral medallions speak of architectural poise. Ghom is known for silk precision and luminous density, while Tabriz masters bold forms and rich contrast.

These traditions are not accidental. They are born from local culture — the rhythms of daily life, the natural palette of the landscape, and the shared knowledge passed down through generations. A rug is only complete when it reflects meaning as much as material.

Understanding Persian craft means seeing beyond pattern. It requires attention to origin, technique, and intention — a lineage of skill that still guides every masterwork today.

My father & me, a shared journey

My father was born in Shiraz, in the south of Iran — a land of poetry, craftsmanship, and tradition. Nearly thirty years ago, he came to Belgium and began building his life around what he knew best: exceptional Persian rugs. Piece by piece, exhibition after exhibition, he earned a reputation for rigorous selection and uncompromising quality.

Today, after decades in the field and two addresses along Avenue Louise, the gallery continues its story at number 215 — guided by the same standards of integrity and refinement.

As for me, I was born in Belgium, shaped by two (even three) cultures. At 23, and recently graduated from the Solvay Business School, I am only at the beginning. My ambition is not simply to continue what was built, but to honor it — and, in time, to elevate it. This is indeed more than a business: it is a legacy in motion.
